It's kind of a bummer that even despite intensive graphical mods to make it look like current gen, the game's mechanic are still centuries old. I'm hoping that future ETS has more features like a brand new engine, physics in damage or collision, physics in trailer's load i.e.sand can spill if not handle properly etc. I think having new content is good but looking at the game's engine compared to nowadays makes it seems far way behind.
